 Nancy has 15+ years of skin health/wellness experience.  She completed her 600 hour certification in Aesthetics from the Douglas J Aveda Institute & currently she holds over 1,000 hours of post graduate courses, making her a Master Aesthetician.  She is a Michigan Board Certified Aesthetician & Certified in Nutritional Counseling & Wellness, with 2 decades of R&D experience, 5 of those years from the University of Michigan.

Most importantly, Nancy practices what she preaches, making health and wellness part of her everyday life, from growing herbal remedies in her indoor green room to testing treatments at her spa. Active in the fitness community, she relives stress from raising her 3 young children with her husband by being an indoor cycle instructor for 8 years, & competes in fitness competitions. Nancy has ensured the brand remains cruelty free, vegan, & ecofriendly. Fueled by her passion for self-care, Nancy continues to travel the globe, absorbing the practices of spa rituals & wellness knowledge, while discovering the virtues of traditional healing practices and adapting them to create innovative products and spa rituals to incorporate during hands on treatments. Nancy created the dbts Skin Bar brand in 2008 & as of 2017 is officially a Trade Marked brand. She is also co-creator of BEAN, INC., a wellness retreat company she created with her husband, running wellness retreats in the USA, Mexico, & across the globe. MIMIC is a consulting & brand building division I built to aid individual entrepreneurs, entrepreneur hopefuls & corporations in building, & imagining and/or re-imagining their brand, it's structure, & public impact.


My Approach

 

It all begins with an idea. Helping you discover your niche, is the key to a strong foundation. My mission with the MIMIC division is to forge lasting relationships & connections; by leveraging social media, creating proper branding channels, and amplification to redefine the paths in which the brand & client connect, providing an elevated service experience that position our clients, for success.

Build it

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and you can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for your business launch.
